The MTV Movie Awards are always a place for celebrities to make fun of themselves and the messes they’ve found themselves in — and according to Celebuzz sources, Blake Lively plans on getting some laughs from her recent photo scandal.
Despite the dramatic week of alleged nude photo leaks that Blake’s reps declared as “100% fake,” our insiders say that Blake will absolutely be in attendance, and instead of hiding from the scandal, she plans to “poke fun” at the situation during the show.
“They’re working on a moment in the show where she’d make fun of it,” our source says.
MTV had no comment on Lively’s participation in the show.
Blake has been laying low in Venice, Italy since her photo scandal erupted this week. On Friday, photos of her and rumored boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio on a boat emerged, showing Blake on the phone and looking less than thrilled.

Blake Lively has emerged as the front-runner for the female lead in Oliver Stone’s “Savages,” a role she may have to choose over playing Glinda the Good Witch in Disney’s “Oz.”
Stone will write and direct the pic, which follows two Laguna Beach marijuana kingpins forced to work for a Mexican drug cartel after Ophelia, the free-spirited girlfriend they share, is kidnapped.
Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch are in talks to play the two male leads, with Benicio del Toro negotiating for one of the cartel enforcers.
Early in the casting process, Jennifer Lawrence was the choice — but when she won the much-coveted lead as Katniss in “The Hunger Games,” Stone went back to the drawing board.
Teresa Palmer and Olivia Wilde also met with Stone for the role. While Lively is still awaiting an offer, several people with knowledge of the process tell Variety that she is Stone’s top choice.
When Variety asked Lively (who was at CinemaCon promoting “The Green Lantern” earlier this month) about joining the project, she demurred — but didn’t deny interest.
“I’m a huge fan of Oliver Stone,” she said. “I would love to … when you look at directors that you want to work with, he’s always on the top of the list. It would be a dream to be able to work with him.”
Universal will distribute the pic, which looks to hit its June start date — but all is riding on Stone locking up his Ophelia. Salma Hayek and Uma Thurman have also been eyed for roles.
Lively has a lot to think about as she plans her summer hiatus from CW’s “Gossip Girl.”
She had been considering another role: as Glinda the Good Witch of the East in Sam Raimi’s “Oz: The Great and Powerful” for Disney. As it stands, shooting schedules for “Savages” and “Oz” would make it difficult for her to do both, though sources close to Lively say several options are still being considered.
Lively at present is filming “Hick” with Chloe Moretz and Alec Baldwin.
She is repped by CAA and Untitled.

If you’ve been itching to see a young Carrie Bradshaw’s foray into the world of fashion, you’re in luck. Grazia magazine is reporting that studio execs are in talks to bring “Sex and the City” author Candace Bushnell’s 2010 prequel “The Carrie Diaries,” about a pre-NYC Carrie Bradshaw, to the big screen.
But instead of more ’80s flashbacks, the film will feature an entirely new group of stylish, single girls to embody the earlier versions of our beloved Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha. While production is still solely in talks, writer-director-producer Michael Patrick King reportedly has his eye on “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively to play the signature fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker made into a female icon.

It’s always good when your mom approves of your dating choices – even if it’s just your onscreen mom.
With Ryan Gosling and Blake Lively apparently enjoying a special closeness, Kelly Rutherford – who plays Lively’s mother on Gossip Girl – has given the pair the thumbs-up.
“It’d be great [if they were dating]. Blake’s an amazing person,” Rutherford said Friday at the opening of the new restaurant Beauty & Essex in New York. “She’s so gorgeous. He’s a lucky man if they are!”
Neither Gosling not Lively is admitting to anything serious between them. “She’s an incredible actress; she’s a good friend,” Gosling told PEOPLE last week at a lunch for Blue Valentine in New York at the Kimberly Hotel.
Rutherford, 42, who went through a difficult divorce last year from husband Daniel Giersch – with whom she has two children, Hermés and Helena – said she could be ready to follow Lively’s lead and date again.
“I’m really enjoying being a mom, but I’m open to dating,” she told PEOPLE. “It’s not really a priority. I have so much love in my life right now with my kids.”
She adds: “I’ll have plenty of time to meet someone and have that part of my life fulfilled. Right now I’m so fulfilled between work and my kids. It’s so important, this time in their life.”
Rutherford says her resolution for the new year is to stay “very thankful” for everything she has. “That’s usually what I’ll do on New Year’s,” she says. “I’ll write a little bit about where I am and what I want to do.”

Last we heard about Baz Luhrman’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby the director had begun workshopping his script with actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Rebecca Hall. The news was confirmation of a previous story that Luhrman had picked up the project again, only actress Amanda Seyfried was the one being considered for the role of Daisy. Turns out that Hall and Seyfried aren’t the only ones being looked at.
Deadline says that they have heard some names being dropped in regard to the the role of Daisy Buchanan in the potential Luhrman adaptation and it’s chock full of names that you expect. Included on the supposed list include actresses Hall, Seyfried, Keira Knightley, Blake Lively, Abbie Cornish, Michelle Williams, Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman. It would be nearly impossible to deny the legitimacy of this list seeing as those eight actresses have been up for nearly every major female role that has been talked about for the last year. It is unknown if Luhrman has been in contact with any of the actresses outside of Hall and Seyfried.
It’s strange to be speculating about this film so soon, considering Luhrman hasn’t even committed to making it yet. For all we know, this project may not be made for another five years, and, if that’s the case, the list above will be meaningless. The purpose of the workshopping phase is for Luhrman to see if the script he has written with partner Craig Pearce is even good enough to start production. Until Luhrman decides that the work is good enough and give the project his own personal green light, everything we hear about this movie is speculation.
