Blake Lively’s Gucci Première advert has finally debuted on television.
Inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and fronted by a modern icon — Blake Lively, the new Gucci Premiere fragrance is an invitation to embrace one’s own red carpet moment. Shot by director Nicolas Winding Refn in the historic Sheats Goldstein Residence, one of Beverly Hills’s most famed and opulent locations with an unrivalled view across the city.
The fragrance is currently only available in the UK (Selfridges) and won’t be available elsewhere until its world wide launch in September. In accordance with the launch, director Nicolas Winding Refn will present a short film starring at the 2012 Venice Film Festival.

BLAKE LIVELY is the face of Gucci’s upcoming Gucci Première eau de parfum, a new scent created to represent the brand’s red-carpet-inspired line of the same name.
The adverts, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for print and Nicolas Winding Refn for television, mark Lively’s first fragrance campaign.
“Gucci is a staple. It is a brand I have always looked up to because to me it represents strength,” the actress told WWD. “In their designs, in their images, in what they stand for philanthropically, and especially in their fragrance… I couldn’t be more proud to be working with Gucci and its heart, Frida.”
The actress was chosen, “because she is a girl of extraordinary beauty and a girl who loves fashion,” according to Gucci creative director Frida Giannini.
“Although she’s young, she’s also very determined, and I liked this spirit… she knows how to be a diva in the right sense, with an aspirational glamour,” the designer said.
Gucci Première is scheduled to launch in late July in the United Kingdom, prior to the worldwide launch in September.

Blake and other celebrities (among others Dianna Agron, Kristin Chenoweth etc.) signed an elephant to raise money and awareness for the alzheimer’s association. You can visit the main site of the project here and you can bid for the signed Blake Lively elephant right here!
The Elephant Project is an organization to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. The elephant is the symbol of the project because there is a phrase that says, “elephants never forget,” and in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, we are striving for those afflicted with it to “never forget.”
To raise money, and awareness, we have celebrities pose for a picture with an elephant beanie baby, which are then auctioned off in an Elephant Project auction package! Each package consists of an 8×10 photo of a celebrity posing with the elephant, a signed Elephant Project card by that celebrity, and a special elephant beanie baby! Some of the celebrities that have participated include Gerard Butler, Lady Gaga, Zac Efron, Julie Andrews, Anne Hathaway, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, Ashley Tisdale and tons of others!
